Boston, MA – Apr 15, 2024: Monte Caldera Technologies (MCT), a deep-tech startup pioneering next-generation simulation tools to accelerate sustainable materials development, is proud to announce its selection to the 2025 MassChallenge Climate Cohort, a globally competitive program focused on supporting the most promising startups tackling the climate crisis.
MassChallenge is one of the world’s leading startup accelerators, known for its equity-free model and global network of partners, industry experts, and mentors. The program brings together innovators from across the globe to fast-track solutions that can meaningfully reduce carbon emissions, restore ecosystems, and build climate-resilient industries.
This year’s Climate cohort launched with program kickoffs in Dallas and Boston, where MassChallenge’s headquarters are located. MCT joins 12 leading climate startups from the U.S. and around the world — all selected for their disruptive technologies and high potential to drive meaningful impact at scale.
MCT’s platform, powered by NESCGLE (Non-Equilibrium Statistical Physics), enables R&D teams to model and predict material behavior far beyond the limits of traditional simulation tools. By making materials design faster, cleaner, and more precise, MCT aims to reduce emissions across the entire value chain — from chemical manufacturing to energy systems and advanced packaging.
